i would've kept either the skirt of the boots. the skirt with a beautiful metalic woven top could look wonderful if paired with leggings and stellar flats.

kitkatherine on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:08am

not occasion appropriate but she looks hot!

Tullia on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:19am

Uh, she looks trashy...and if she paired the risque top with some beautiful black pants, it would have been such a classy outfit. Shame.

Berlin on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:32am

Oh god, she looks so tacky. I think I would loose everything. But if I had to re-vamp the outfit I would have kept the top with a cami underneath and paired it with denim trousers and cute peep-toe pumps. Even the clutch is bad...replace it with a large Lauren Merkin clutch in a bright color.

fashion_addict on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:33am

Are those pantyhose I see?

Gatito on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:48am

Uhhhh Heather, what were you thinking?

aimeeb on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 9:48am

ughhh

Shopaholichunny on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 10:11am

What... the hell? I wouldn't wear this!

x_juicyfruit on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 10:34am

ummm.... i WOULDN'T

Cinderelliotte on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 10:48am

the shirt has potential! i would wear a flesh colored tank underneath and pair the top with dark skinny jeans and black heels

Jaws3883 on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 10:50am

That's the thing about sheer tops... You wear it at night not when flash lights and when the sun is out.
Did she wear this top on purpose?

almost famous on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 11:34am

maybe if she used that top
with a nice suit the one's
that has the wide leg

WiCkeD_LaDy on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 12:47pm

I agree that the outfit is hideous, but I'd kill to have her body!

marcella on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 1:03pm

Is it just me, or is she starting to look like Rose MacGowan?

nancita on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 1:15pm

black tank under and nice black flowy pants that sit on the hips. pair it with sparkly heels ..perfect!

emlod10 on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 1:58pm

I don't think I would wear this!

She's very attractive, but I think this outfit makes her look trashy.

emalove on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 2:47pm

the boots are kinda fab. the rest of the outfit needs to go though.

berrymix on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 5:17pm

I don't agree with you about denim skirts, I wear them all the time although I may be biased because I'm pretty young so I don't look tacky in them. I do agree that the skirt is completely innapropriate for the occasion I think I'd have probably ditched the whole thing and myabe kept the boots. Or the skirt but with something completely different to wear to somePLACE completely different.

nikecold on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 6:07pm

I would've put a white tank under and worn skinny jeans tucked into the boots.

hil34 on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 6:15pm

TRASH!

missk29 on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 7:22pm

any thing but a mini skirt would have looked nicer.. i would have opted for black pants or even high waist jeans.. i despise denim miniskirts.

fashunista on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 7:27pm

with a belt, without tights, with a different shirt on wider hips dropped a little lower with cute shoes- OH HELL! forget it

Green on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 8:38pm

I don't mind the miniskirt so much. It would have been nice with some opaque black or brown tights, and matching leather mid-calf boots with a wedge or chunk heel. And a belt of some sort. Then I would add an empire waist top with a v-neck and long sleeves. Or with more coverage on top at least, since the skirt is so short.

But I have to give her a pass on this outfit since her former boyfriend just died. Even though she and Heath haven't been together in years, it had to affect her. Ostensibly, so much so that she lost her fashion vision.

Although, who am I kidding, she's always had bad taste. I recall jean evening gown at some point...

girlfriday on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 8:57pm

what is wrong with her? there is no way in hell i would ever think to wear this outfit... much less to fashion week! she has really gone down the tubes. trash.

jnm9jem on Sat, 02/09/2008 - 12:39am

Keep the black top and put a black cami underneath. Pair with ivory, wide leg trousers.

Denim mini? Seriously? Isn't she much too old for that? And why is this girl still invited to events?

Ashlyn Rose on Sat, 02/09/2008 - 8:35am

the denim skirt is so tacky with this outfit and for this occasion. i agree, id either put a black or flesh colored tank underneath.

SeaFoamGreen215 on Sat, 02/09/2008 - 9:23am

If I had her body, I'd rock it, demanding attention. Well maybe for a day, then it'd get old.

The top with some classic black, wide-leg slacks could have been quite lovely.

HushYuppie on Sun, 02/10/2008 - 2:51am

I didn't realize they let D-list actors into Fashion Week events.

girlshop75 on Sun, 02/10/2008 - 9:31am

I would keep the top and wear it with a pair of really dark blue well fitting jeans and sky high black heels.

The jeans would reduce the trashiness of the outfit, but high heels would add elegance for an after party.

piesecki on Sun, 02/17/2008 - 6:42am

I'm sorry, I love it! Maybe not for fashion week...

FabSugar Says:

The outfit Heather Graham wore to the G-Star Raw after party is not acceptable for any event, much less a New York Fashion Week one. Where does one begin? Most people would first bash the see-through top, but I'll start with the denim skirt. Denim skirts are tricky because they can look so outdated. Her pairing the skirt with the sheer top is where she went all wrong.

Heather should have ditched the denim skirt, as it's tacky. The top has potential to be stylish, but I would have thrown a black tank under it so as not to reveal too much. On the bottom, she should have opted for a more modest pencil skirt or wide-leg trousers.
