I loved it! I thought she looked adorable and unique. She's awesome.

The people who made fun of Bjork and this dress are idiots. She can wear whatever she likes, and initially when I saw her in this dress, I thought she was doing a take off on Marilyn Monroe in "The Seven Year Itch". I barely noticed to Swan effect, which is great.

Well, considering she's a little odd...this is a dress only she can pull off....now, if someone else was wearing it, I might think they were craaazy.

my fav part was the egg shaped purse!

can't say I agree with you all. Maybe if the duck head was eliminated. I usually like frilly.

bjork can't do it justice. it looked much better on ellen

blogsap on Tue, 02/20/2007 - 4:50pm

I love it *because* it's so unique. Plus...she had an egg too! That's just hilarious. Smiling

I love it because she's doing her own thing. She obviously has never cared what anyone says about her and it's nice to see someone gutsy enough to wear something that outrageous.

Katerkins on Tue, 02/20/2007 - 5:21pm

I'm undecided because I appreciate her expressing her style but I don't like being a spectacle for the sake of getting noticed. I think it cheats.

Linny on Tue, 02/20/2007 - 5:54pm

It's all subjective. Fashion is supposed to be entertaining, especially on Oscar night. I like fashion disasters myself. But Bjork stood out and she carried her swan dress with confidence. How could you hate her for that?

UrbanBohemian on Tue, 02/20/2007 - 7:01pm

I voted undecided because I actually somewhat liked the dress. What I hated was the bulky nude lace bra and particularly the rhinestone-studded stockings. They were way too big for her, causing them to bunch up at her knees and ankles, they stopped halfway down her feet and they were so unflattering to her legs that it made me want to scream.

kscincotta on Tue, 02/20/2007 - 9:25pm

it grew on me and now i love it!!

theotherhalfofme on Wed, 02/21/2007 - 2:25am

Whatever, it is her type of style. I wouldnt wear it but good for her.

kendalheart on Wed, 02/21/2007 - 5:54am

I'm not an idiot, and usually like things that are different. I like Bjork, but I never warmed up to this dress. It's a joke, but it will be remembered.

Hey after all these years we're still talking about it. Stands out, but she didn't wear it well. Hopefully my daughter will look better in it for Halloween.

I loved Bjork's infamous swan dress, designed by Marjan Pejoski, that she wore on the 2001 Oscars red carpet. Hear me out: you have to have your red carpet risk takers to mix things up no? Honestly, gorgeous gown after gorgeous gown can get a little redundant; don't we all love to gasp and gossip at least once during the red carpet parade? I also really admire Bjork as a musician and feel she's a true artist - her choice communicated this. What did you all think? Did you love it or hate it? I know Giggle's opinion.
