All she ever seems to wear is black and khaki basics. She looks put together enough, but I'm not terribly impressed by her "style."

She's a minimalist. It's not my style but it looks FAB on her. She knows what works for her and she sticks with it. LOVE her obviously!

I'm with Jude C...she always looks nice and very chic, but she really only wears basics. I'd like to see her take a few more risks with what she wears on occasion. Fashion should be fun sometimes too!

Do not see it. All she wears is gray, black, tan. Her closet must look SO BORING inside.

I'm confused as to why we need someone to tell us where to get a black tank and [yuk!] kahki skirt.

why are these people stars? none of the celebrities know how to dress. this is so generic, her tank is see through, khaki=gag! not to mention the hideous oversized luggage bags that have been all the rage for far too long. get some taste!

I'm not liking the khaki skirt. I don't like khakis period,it reminds me of middle-aged men and school kids. Wear some red, yellow, orange, blue. Mix it up boo!

I don't love her skirt, but her Givenchy bag is fab.

Sorry to disagree with the ragging on her, but I can appreciate sticking with what works .. she doesn't try to act 22 (hello, Gwyneth) but she hasn't crossed over into soccer-mom territory either (see Julia Roberts, who I might add is awesome but not a huge risk-taker fashionwise) ... some of us in our late 30s (OK I'm 40) prefer to keep it simple ... she's clearly not dressing for you, me, or anyone else. Seems to me she dresses like a woman who is sure of herself and at peace with who she is, not trying to shock or make waves.

The fact that I often wear tank tops, jeans and tall shoes also has nothing to do with it

I am also 40 and wouldn't be caught dead in Khaki.

The point is not so much that she chose to dress simply... which I will do on occasion as well... like today.

But why do we need pointers on how to buy it? Go to the Gap and if you can distinguish the womens clothes from the mens clothes, there you will find her outfit.

Yes she plays it safe, and sure I agree she should step out of her comfort zone a little more. But at least she knows what works, and she wears what fits her. I can't tell you how much I hate when women try to come off as fashion forward and stylish when all they're really doing is wearing about 10 different trends together. It just looks stupid, and frankly I'd rather see basic and boring than outfits that incorporate fugly trends.

It's not about her playing it safe. More about putting someone on a pedestal for outfits that most women wear on a daily basis.

Well, except for the see trough tank.

her casual style suits her. i like things to be more adventurous and if you look at her red carpet style, she tends to take more risks there. yes, she likes neutral shades but i remember the beautiful red dress she wore to the "along came polly" premiere. cute. i wish she would wear more color and dye her hair red but her style is chic and natural...

Her watch is a jcrew vintage rolex [5k]. I think she looks great in anything, but this outfit is extra fab! Jen is breathtaking!
