I really did not like Christian's. I felt that it was too much going on. I really don't like Lauren Conrad at all...but I will give her credit that the dress she "designed" was much more fitting for the occasion.

first off, siriano's is a complete Lanvin rip off/interpretation.
Both designs look maternal---that's the new trend. I have the same silhouette for my spring 2009 collection.
conrad's dress is so unprofessional looking upclose.

I don't like either, but Christian Siriano definitely designed the better dress.

They're both unimpressive. The red one's abysmal, though.

The red one look like something that can easily be purchased at Kmart big blue sale. Lauren green dress is elegant and fitting for the occasion. So Lauren wins by a mile.

I'm sorry, but there shouldn't even be a comparison between the two! One is a schooled designer, and one is a designer-by-celebrity.

It's like comparing a professional race car driver with someone that drives fast cause they have a nice car.

And I'd wear Christian's dress, but then again I'm a total slut for whatever he designs!

i really like christian's. i don't think he's ripping anyone off. there is no way that could pass as a lanvin. similarities to other designers are not sins!

if siriano wants to be a fashion headliner he should get his inspiration from somewhere else other than the runway. he's latest collection is a fusion of olivier theysken for rochas, lanvin, and his project runway collection. he got skills though.

I don't think Christian's is appropriate for the occasion. It's a little too out there, I feel like the trophy girls' dresses shouldn't be outrageous but simple and elegant...something not too special but pretty looking all the same, and I feel that Lauren did a better job at designing with that in mind.

I liked Lauren's dress, especially the one she wore when she presented. For a girl from Laguna Beach you have to admit she has come a long way. Christian's dress was blah, I wouldnt of put it on.

I thought Christian's looked like one of the maternity dresses Angelina wore. I liked Lauren's much better. Christian's Spring 2009 collection though, is out of this world amazing! Totally tops Lauren's.

well i think that we have seen that LC has an 'ok' collection but she's not yet at the point in her career that she's wowing her. i think that we have to keep it in perspective that we're not expecting her to be the next frida, or tom ford, or marchesa...she's just LC and she's doing a decent job with what she's got
