If there's ever a time to show your style confidence, it's at Paris Fashion Week. Such was the case with the always-Fab Bosworth (where has she been hiding?) on her way to the Miu Miu show. As we ease into chilly months, layering is your best friend. Sometimes I wear sweaters over my Summery dresses, but rarely have I worn them under — it's time to give that a whirl. Kate's fit is a bit baggy for my taste, but her crimson red pumps prevent this look from being old-fashioned. And with James on her arm she'll always look good.

I'm sorry, but this looks ridiculous!

shannydoots on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:35am

I agree with shanny. it would be a lot better if the sweater was more fitted IMO

lawchick on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:39am

I think this is one my favorite looks this week. Tho, did you mean to include the cocoon sweater, fab?

longhornlass04 on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:43am

Hey ladies. I did mean to include a gray cocoon — she wore it over the whole look. Interesting, eh? xo

FabSugar on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:46am

I love it, actually. She pulls it off well.

LolaSvelt on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 12:05pm

I think it is very unflattering.

gabiushka on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 12:37pm

That pic of her on the left makes me laugh. I can't imagine having that seductive look on my face just opening a door, regardless if there's a camera shoved in my face. These celebrities just live for the limelight, don't they?

The gray cocoon really goes well with the dress and is a better look than just wearing the dress solo.

bibliophile on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 1:03pm

It doesn't work if both pieces are baggy. One or the other would have made the look worlds more flattering.

4blankwalls on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 1:19pm

I'm not loving it, and I miss the old, wholesome lookin' Kate rather than the "I am smoldering" new Kate. Having said that, that dude is cute! Who cares if you're wearing a sweater inside your dress with a man-cessory that good looking!

GiggleSugar on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 1:58pm

I hate this look. It's terrible.

emalove on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 2:23pm

I don't like it at all.

QueenMargot on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 2:30pm

This is probably the worst Kate Bosworth look I've seen on her. Puke!

gatsby-esque on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 8:52pm

I love it, but it is definitely unconventional - I think only someone as cool as her can pull it off, and I love it even more with the gray cocoon over - only wish I could copy this...

lizlee89 on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:25pm

I loved this look, glad you did a post on it! It suits her slender frame, the baggy layering would hardly work on anyone else. The best look at any of the fashion shows.

i_love_miu on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:59pm

I'm not feeling this at all

art_couture on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 6:58am

This look is not my taste either. She looks okay.

GlowingMoon on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 9:14am

Yeah, a bit unflattering since both pieces are slouchy.

myystque on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 3:56pm

I'm all about unusual combinations...but not this one...
