I have always had trouble figuring out what face shape I have. Anyone have a good way to tell?

Can anyone see my new bikini gravatar?

SweetPeasMom - A good wy to tell is by sitting in front of a mirror and drawing around your face outline (reflection) with lipstick, it'll give you a vague idea and you can clean it off.

I'm kinda scared by the lipstick thing. I'll give it a try. I never know which face shape I have. Sometimes it looks round, sometimes oval, depending how I place my hair. how confusing

I was also told to do it it the mirror when its all fogged up in the bathroom. Just pull your hair back and trace around it. Heart shapes are wider across the forehead and have a prominent chin,

im pretty sure i have a heart shaped face , most of them have a widows peak which looks like this on your hair line "V" some times rockin the side bangs & long naturally sraight hair, high check bones & a very distinctive chin & very natural colored make up is a very in look right now .

I have a heart shaped face. I do not know what the best hair style should I have. now, my hair is long and a little bit curly. I want to change my style. Please tell me if there is anyone who know what should I do to my hair. Thank you very much

BellaSugar Says:

You may covet your favorite celeb's hairstyle, but if the 'do doesn't fit your face shape, you're likely to be disappointed. Hence, FABSUGAR's four-part series on the haircuts that best flatter your face. This week's installment: heart-shaped faces.

If you were FABulous enough to be born with a heart-shaped face, then you've got it pretty easy. The structure—shared by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Naomi Campbell and Reese Witherspoon (above)—is the most versatile, so most cuts are guaranteed to look great on you. For the coifs most likely to complement your face, read more

  • Use side-swept or longer bangs to draw attention to your eyes and fantastic cheekbones.
  • If you prefer short hair, ask your stylist to keep the top layers long, so they fall right below your jawline.
  • For long hair, wavy layers that fall by your cheeks will also look stunning.
  • Since your most prominent feature is your chin, be sure to watch out for blunt-cut bangs and excessively choppy layers.

Check back next week for Part II: round faces.
