My in laws have a macaw. He is huge! He talks and laughs, he is very cool. I think he's about 20 years old too.

My inlaws have a sun conure that is mean as hell! He's very territorial over both of my fiancee's parents, if I or my fiancee go anywhere near them he will bite them and then attack us.

No birds. NO BIRDS. Birds are verboten in my house, especially after we had to birdsit Costello--the cockateel that hated EVERYONE minus my mom. Birds and my family do NOT mix.

My family has always had finch. They are so cute and reproduce like crazy! We used to trade the babies into the pet store in exchange for food, so they pretty much paid for themselves. My Mom got sick of all the babies though, so now we just have 2 males.

Oh man...i used to have a quaker parrot just like the one above. His name was cookie he was the biggest flirt with all the females in the house. My late father taught him how to scream my mothers name and to tell my youngest sibling to calm down. haha. I want one so bad. love them

I had two pretty little parakeets when I was a kid (named Joey and Jordan, after the New Kids ). Birds were the only pets my dad could stand.
