I think it's a cool look, but the vintage ebay jacket looks a little ill-fitting. It could just be the way the model is standing..

I wouldn't think I would like a "band jacket," but this is actually cool...

Back when I last donned a marching band jacket I was in high school and actually playing in the marching band...I didn't like wearing it then and I can't ever imagine wearing one now and calling it "fashion"

Marching bands don't wear jacket's like this. I'd say what a lot of bands wear is more fashionable than this.
