    Ooh, good stuff listed above. I also recommend John Cleese's DVD Wine for the Confused for any beginner. Yeah, that is Monty Python John Cleese.

    i love this - and to be honest, even if you're not a newbie, it's not a bad book either. sometimes you just need to get a refresher on the basics even if you've been involved in the wine world for a while.
