Along with fellow new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Jessica Alba and her hubby Cash Warren attended a friend's house party over the weekend. From the looks of the couple, it was a casual affair. Still, the actress turned up in retro style, wearing Juicy Couture's plaid coat, flared jeans, an ivory turtleneck topped with a necklace, and white sunnies. Jessica proves that choosing your denim wisely is of utmost importance; hers lent a cool '70s vibe that went hand in hand with her groovy coat.

i love juicy but that jacket is pretty heinous (just the green, actually), but not as heinous as jessica albas stupid @$$ bangs. i despise bangs, we need to stay away from them... unless you have a huge forehead.

Is this a joke? She looks awful. I know she's a Mommy now, but I'm a Mommy too. There's no excuse for this look. She could have wore her hair up or back if she didn't have time to wash it or style it, and she definitely could try to wear something that is comfortable yet still attractive!!!!!!

Haha! She does look Ugly Betty-ish. I like her outfit except her hair and glasses. Hair could've been done better, and the glasses are just stupid.

There's nothing wrong with bangs--when done correctly, they are very cute. Jessica Alba is just giving them a bad name.

I love this look and it's definitely something I'd wear...especially those shoes!!! Very 70s-inspired, which is usually my favorite style.

HA! I have this coat! It comes with a removable faux fur collar. It is so 70s and I freaking love the sh*t out of it!
