On second thought, I think the biggest problem is that the dress looks ill-fitting. The waist looks too high, too short, too hard-pressed flat across. I think if the skirt started a little lower and were also a bit longer, I think the whole outfit would look more dressy, despite the thick shiny tin foil-esque fabric.

I really like how Jordin dresses for these kinds of events. As a teenager, this fits her appropriately. Besides, whenever young stars like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift dress "too formal" they are criticized for looking too old and not age-appropriate. The short prom dress look seems to be what Jordin is comfortable in, so hats off to her.

Jordin looks great! The dress fits her like a glove and is perfect for her age! Her Shoes, clutch and stunning gold jewels really accent her whole look!!! Luv it!!! Can't wait to see more of her!!!

It looks very cheap, and kind of a few years out of date, like she bought it in the Macy's juniors section for about $75. And that paneling on the bodice flattens her out too much.

She always looks so smug...I don't like the dress, but I don't like anything she wears, so it might have mroe to do with my hatred of her than the actual garment.
