As long as it's not too "frosted" looking I can like it, subtle.

I'm with Aimee--I absolutely despise super-metallic/frosty-looking eyeshadow.

ditto to the two above peeps, but i love the way kate winslet rocks pastel shadow...and i'm normally a dark shadow girl!

I agree, Piksie007, Kate does look good! As long as it's sheer and the shimmer is at a minimum, I like it.

I don't mind it, but my favourite shadow looks are either smoky and black, or pretty and netural, not a huge fan of super cool colours

I love using silver eyeshadow already. Especially as a contrasting colour in a smokey eye. I find that if I apply it lightly then it doesn't look too over the top and just provides a light shimmer.

I really like Emily Blunt & the girl above hers eyeshadow, I really like the purpley shimmer.
