But what if you want to find a book in there? Sticking out tongue I enjoy seeing all of my books, I wouldn't want to cover them up.

It's cool but like bethinabox said, I like seeing which books I have! I also don't have a lot of books that are the same size.

This is shockingly dumb. Books are... books. Not decor items. If you're using your books as decor, you might want to reexamine your priorities.

Aww, but it's adorable! I don't know about you guys but I know at least two people who have a shelf in the study filled with old encyclopedias no one even uses anymore; just there for decor. This could make for an interesting change.

Wow...This would take forever..Wouldn't the books have to be all the same size? Ridiculous for the people that actually read their books and need to find them!!

How could this even work? Books are all different shapes and sizes. But I like the idea, though! It looks cool.

I agree with pinklady. How could it work?
    I don't like it.

they're so incredibly not user-friendly and totally defeat the purpose of having a book spine to begin with

That is so COOL! Except you wouldn't be able to tell which book is which and that would get kinda frustrating trying to look for a certain book for ever.

There's no reason why your love of real-life hardbound books and your love of technology have to clash. Even if you're planning on getting a new Kindle soon, you undoubtedly still have some books in your place, and the Icoeye blog found a great way of showing that your techiness hasn't gotten in the way of your literary love: pixel-printed book jackets.

It's a little project unto itself, if you're so inclined to print out each sheet and then arrange your jacketed books on shelves to display the icons, but it's so creative that I'd enjoy seeing this instead of some dusty spines on someone's bookshelf.

    What do you think?
