Like the make-up. Not the hair.

I love it. Anne looks great tonight.

She's got that same vacant look as Eva Longoria, but she looks really good. These women all look like they stepped out of the pages of Valley of the Dolls, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

HaterTot on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 7:27pm

I love the make-up, but the hair just doesn't seem to go with the look.

shafiii on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 7:33pm

Please make a how-to for her makeup!!

fishbulb on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 8:05pm

At first glance, I was like, NO!... but then I looked closer and got what she was doing. I think she looks fantastic.

I love this look! She's always beautiful, but this is exceptional.

hippiecowgirl on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 5:42am

this was my favorite look of the whole event!!! she looks phenominal!!!!

Fixe on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 6:32am

Stunning. The muted make-up and big hair look good. It's like they de-emphasize and balance her features which I always thought were too big for her tiny face.

minze on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 12:15pm

Sexy, love the 60s vibe. These boots were made for walkin'

genesisrocks on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 12:55pm

I don't think I've ever seen her look so stunning before. Love the dress too.

cloroxcowgirl on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 1:20pm

Gorgeous makeup. The hair, though, I'm on the fence about.

emalove on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 7:03pm

Nice to see something different from her, but I would've gone for a slightly less nude lip. Otherwise, she looks great.

I really love it! She's superb stunning. With voluminous hair reminding of 60's era revealing her gorgeous face. I envy of her style. With lighter eyes make up putting her eyes honestly big and natural lipcolour leaving both her hair do and face structure a standout one at the Met's Institute Gala. One thing that a celebrity has to learn is a posture, not only a body but facial. I am loving her image more at Windows Live msn website. With her serious expression, it revealed a more stunning looks and charismatic. I admire that image and I'm goanne be the next follower. Congrats to the hair stylist and make up artist.

BellaSugar Asks:

With that big, voluminous hair, I'm reminded of Anne's character in Brokeback Mountain, although this version is more refined, channeling a sophisticated, '60s-era vibe.

The majority of her colleagues have been all about the dramatic makeup looks tonight, but Anne opts for a simply pretty palette, putting all of the focus on her heavily-lined eyes and amped up locks. What do you think? Are you pumped?
