the only thing wrong here is that her skin is shiny, most likely from heat. If she could have used those papery oil removing papers and made herself 'matte' she would have looked a lot better

In this photo, the berry lips look too harsh.

Glamamom on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 8:15pm

The hair and makeup looks like that of Brittany Murphy's character in "Clueless"...pre-makeover.

lyjting on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 8:15pm

I think it makes her look sick! Yuck!

SummerB88 on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 8:16pm

She is indeed a gorgeous woman, but this look is wrong on so many levels. The colour of her face doesn´t match that of her neck, and in fact it doesn´t seem as if she´s wearing anything on her face, it´s all shiny and uneven, and her eye shadow isn´t doing anything for her

jenniferg on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 8:19pm

i saw the picture and thought "oh holy crap!"
im hoping it looked much better in person.

I'm not loving that shade of lipstick on her. Too harsh for her complexion, and it makes her teeth look yellow. She is normally much prettier than that!

dragonlady920 on Mon, 05/04/2009 - 9:40pm

No offense, but how can we can anything if all we get is huge close ups? Don't we need to see the whole look, dress, makeup, and all?

Oh no boo

Gwen G on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 4:50am

wow I was shocked when it said that most people hated this look. I love it!

biarose on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 4:52am

She looks a bit demonish. The eyeliner isn't attractive and that shade of lipstick is just not it for her.

hippiecowgirl on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 6:04am

If you had shown me the photo and asked who it was, I wouldn't have known - and I like Rachel Weisz! The makeup looks harsh, but I also think the photo is weird and unflattering and that that might have influenced my opinion of the makeup.

janetwrogers on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 6:17am

She's so pretty, this look doesn't do her justice.

cloroxcowgirl on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 7:05am

I think Rachel is beautiful, but that make-up makes her look sick.

xosofiaxo on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 9:35am

She is a really beautiful woman, but I think she's prettier when she DOESN'T smile.

minze on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 11:37am

Maybe if she were a vampire...

genesisrocks on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 12:45pm

Too shiny and too dark... She looks ill.

retrodoll on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 3:26pm

She DOES look ill...this is the worst I've ever seen her look.

emalove on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 6:47pm

I don't think these colors look so good on her..

tellmemorex2 on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 6:58pm

Oh gosh, this poor girl. She does not look good here because her make-up is way too heavy looking. She needs to tone it down. Fire her make-up artist immediately!!!

audrina on Tue, 05/05/2009 - 10:00pm

i thought she looked like a walkin dead person..
i didnt like her make up

any on Thu, 05/07/2009 - 7:39pm

The lips are just too much with the darker eyes.

I've always had a slight girl crush on Rachel Weisz. She's got a great look, and her movies are almost always intriguing, well-acted, and downright cool.

At the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this year, Rachel went for an understated look that was effortlessly chic. But tonight, the actress channels a romantic, Victorian-era quality with deep berry lips, sexy sultry eyes, and a tousled, wavy updo. Do you think that Rachel "brought it" tonight, or does it somehow miss the mark?
