Far from her over-the-top Confessions of a Shopaholic wardrobe, Isla Fisher looked laid-back while having lunch with Courteney Cox Arquette yesterday. On top she went feminine in a Kimchi floral ruffle tank and a purple cardigan with rolled-up sleeves. The ripped J Brand jeans lend rocker edge to her otherwise sweet look, while her Celine sunnies add flavor. Dressing the look up are a tan ostrich shoulder bag, two-tone sandals, and gold jewels.

I'd like this a lot better with some gold flats but she's awesome so whatever.

she's always been pretty casual with her style when she's not doing an appearance, and i think that's a nice thing. i like her outfit here and it's really easy to replicate.

i didn't realize that she was friendly with CCA - i guess that's a nice person to know in the industry.

I love her look here! It's nice that she keeps in touch with Courtney, as they are both friends with Jen Aniston as well.

Not a fan of the jeans, think it would look better minus the random hole and worn look on the knees.

aimeeb on Wed, 05/13/2009 - 7:51pm

She really is so adorable and pretty, I like her outfit a lot but especially Fab breaks it down for us.

Thanks Fab! Smiling

kinda agree with aimeeb about the holes, I like J Brand jeans but the hole here is a bit much and does throw off the look a little. Otherwise, love it!

wow, I wore something so similar today - only differences were that my cardigan was a more pinkish purple and I didn't wear hobo jeans (am I the only that thinks ripped jeans look like something a drug addict would wear?)

lizlee89 on Thu, 05/14/2009 - 6:22pm

I hate tight, ripped jeans on anyone past 25. It's a teenage look IMHO and sometimes sort of a slutty one. I don't like her style, in general. She favors tight clothes that show a lot of cleavage, which I wouldn't wear myself. I like clothes that are body skimming enough to show off my hour glass shape, but not tight or revealing. And, the last word I would use to describe that outfit is "classy. "Classy clothes don't show your bra strap.
