This is ridiculous how do these little 15/16 year old wear these tall shoes me i can't.

I don't get why people tear Miley Cyrus apart for what she wears (as a 16 year old), saying she's not age-appropriate, yet Dakota (who's only 15) is praised for wearing 4 inch heels and a Balenciaga bag? How is that fair?

I think Dakota looks pretty cute, yeah the heels are a bit insane for someone her age, but she seems to own it pretty well. As for the agruement about why Miley Cyrus gets picked on and Dakota doesn't, I think it has more to do with what Miley isn't wearing. She tends to look more on the "slutty" side than Dakota here, who looks very adult. That's just what I think.
Now, as she gets older if she can get the make-up thing working for her this girl will be unstoppable.

Yea I agree devinedebris and redchick152. The heels are the only questionable thing age-wise in this outfit. But it's not like its rare for teenagers to wear heels. I only question it, because I can't believe she can walk in them!

I loved heels as a teenager! And you better believe I'd be rocking a Balenciaga bag if I could afford it.

The shoes are cute, definitely. However, if I saw a 15 yr old kid around here wearing them, I'd feel the same way...too grown.

When I was in high school, girls wore heels to school all the time. I don't understand why 4 inch heels are not appropriate for a 15 year old? What's the big deal?

This is going to sound bad, but when I was in H.S., I thought my female peers who wore tall heels were skanky. I don't even think I wore heels unless I was going to homecoming/prom. Boy, have times changed.

She looks so odd in those heels...she's still such a little girl to me. Kind of looks like she's playing dress-up or something, LOL.

Dakota is only 5'2" tall she might like wearing heels because she's subconscious of her height. She's a teenager and most teenagers want to be adults, nothing new.

But I really like her outfit very cute.

I love this outfit and would definitely wear this out to dinner or something. A lot of girls at my high school wear high heels, it's not a big deal. As long as you can walk in them and feel confident, they work with any outfit.

She looks nice but way to sexy w. the heels for a 15 YEAR OLD. They are great shoes don't get me wrong but innappropriate for her age. Why rush it?! I guess that's Hollywood for you...sad.

It's funny, normal I would say a 15-year old wearing those shoes is completely ridiculous - be a kid for a while! - but I think Dakota wears it well. She wears it with confidence and owns it, therefore it doesn't look inappropriate. She has great style for a 15-year old.

To me, if I girl can handle walking in the high heels, then despite of her age, she can wear them. Who made the stupid age rules?

Dakota looks fantastic and so does Miley.

She's in an adult business so she's going to tend to wear things that are a bit "older" than what a normal 15 year old would wear. Maybe she feels people will treat her more like an adult and take her seriously if she dresses more like an adult.

And I think people are considering what other 15 year olds are wearing. My sister is 14 (I'm 28), and an outfit like this wouldn't be much of a stretch for her. Kids are just more grown up these days. (God that just made me sound really old!)

her shoes i love, but they're too grown up for her look. she seriously looks the same as she did when she was in War of the Worlds. like the style but not on her.

She's growing up and she deiced to go out in a pair of heels... No big deal, Shes looks great. Miley and Dakota aren't even in the some ball park. You never see pictures of Dakota running around town with a 20yr model, wearing mini skirts and dresses, or posing for magazine only covered by a sheet.... BIG difference.
