Leave it to Rihanna to wear a sleek pair of cool cropped khakis to a business meeting in NYC — Rihanna does power dressing like no other. OK, so she's wearing a white crop top under, which could be considered unprofessional, but this is Rihanna we're talking about. This ensemb even contains a nautical nod. Sigh.These pants aren't overly trendy, and can be carried into cooler months with smart layers and cozy knits. Heels are a must for a more professional presentation, while exotic sandals take it to foreign territory. I know I've convinced myself to get a pair, have I convinced you?

There's something about khaki pants that I really do not like. I just find them unflattering.

I'm not sure why you're considering these pants sleek when they look like gappy harem pants or something. The crop top is just a no. This whole look is unprofessional to me. I don't like it. Oh and no khaki pants for me. They look like a uniform.

SweetFirefly, that's exactly it. It's very uniform-y. At my old catholic high school, the guys wore these terrible khaki pants in the spring/early autumn. They were pretty bad. Ever since then, I don't think I bought anything khaki. Ever.

Not digging these baggy-messy pants on Rhi or the whole ensemble at all! Very ill styled. The only way I like khaki is if it's relaxed cargo style. Those I dig.
