The tights totally ruin it and the necklace and the shoes. She should have worn sandals or something like that to make her legs look longer.

I said love it because the dress is amazing. But she should have left the accessories home instead of going for the full 20's thing. The dress makes enough of a statement to wear on its own.

the tights do not go at all, and I think I'd like it better sans-necklace, it's already pretty glitzy.

I hate everything about it. Dont like the dress, the necklace is ugly and too long for a gold dress, the shoes dont say me anything, and the grey tights doesnt make any sense, the make up is horrible too.

Lose the tights and the chunky jewelry and we'll talk.

The dress is wonderfully gaudy, but she wore it like her sixty-year old predecessors would have before her, with black tights and hideous jewelry. If the dress were a teeny but shorter, no tights, no necklace, and her hair had been down messy this dress definitely would have worked. IT is the accessory AND accent in this case.
