i love the look actually...but the bows here are definitely too big...it should be smaller and not worn by people after their mid-twenties

yes on the runway, no in real life.

just based on the runway pics, i would say "no way" to the bows. however, there's a girl in my yoga class who wears a bright pink bow just like these and she must 35, 40. she can pull it off b/c she's in great shape and sort of has that alternative thing going on, plus she's beautiful. surprisingly, i think the look can work if all the other elements come together.

Yeah, this only works if you're under 12.

i love the concept in a fashion show, but not in real life

i think it is hideous and none of the models are very attractive either

I like soft ribbon bows, not these weird scrunchie things.

That'd be fun for when your outfit is really bland. But I like bows in my hair but small ones... It's really all about personality and age I suppose.

Loooathe it. It looks like a trend that you would be embarressed to see yourself in a photo a few years from now (heck maybe even next year... or NOW).

oh my god! I'm a junior in high school and I saw a freshman girl do this with her hair, I seriously thought she was Minny Mouse. lol.

Hmm, let's see. Where else have we seen '80s-influenced styles on the runways thus far? We caught a glimpse of the totally awesome decade with Derek Lam's rainbow of eye colors, Gwen Stefani's rocker chic looks at L.A.M.B., and we even experienced a touch of it from the twisted headbands at Charlotte Ronson. Let's add Marc by Marc Jacobs to the growing list of rad styles, where the famous designer featured these big, bold, and completely bodacious bows on the Marc by Marc Jacobs runway for Spring 2010. If you were a child of the 1980s, I'm sure you can't help but think Madonna-meets-Minnie Mouse, right? You can always do your own hair-inspired hair bow, but when it comes to the material-girlness of it all, are you feeling these cheeky headpieces, or are they a bit too colorfully cockeyed for your liking?
