I must say it's nobody's business but her own.

Lol, stumbler. Yeah, I don't know how I would feel about one of my co-workers talking to the press about my body shape and weight loss plan. I think "no comment" is the better answer there.

stumbler, u spoke my mind!

Seriously though, her boobs are like national treasures.

I thought that the women on "Mad Men" were actually told to lay off the exercising so they wouldn't get too buff-looking because they wouldn't look like they fit into the 60's. I think it's Christina's choice whether or not she wants to lose weight, but she's drop-dead gorgeous as she is.

I'm assuming someone asked her about Christina's body. What she said wasn't bad. It was actually sweet. Cut January some slack...She's sticking up for a sister's curves!

mwmsjuly19-
I am with you. It's great to see a woman on TV with curves and even greater to hear that her female co-stars appreciate them. christina is one sexy dame!

no, what she said wasn't bad. However if i were asked about a fellow actresse's physical appearance and diet choices, good or bad, the phrase 'no comment' would be much more appropriate.
Christina Hendrick's dieting choices ARE no one's business or concern but Christina Hendricks. Agreed.

Until it becomes a health issue and people are *concerned* for her, MYOB.

@ missyd, thanks for articulating what I was trying to say. What January said WAS sweet, but I personally wouldn't comments about my body made publicly by anyone other than me. A male co-worker told me a couple weeks ago that he could tell I've been running a lot because my "legs were looking bigger." I was offended that he thought he had the right to say that. Conversely, if Christina starts exercising more and (gasp!) loses a bit of her "curviness," I really don't think it's anyone's place to judge, as long as she feels good about herself and is healthy.

Every episode of Mad Men I'm just amazed at how unbelievably sexy Christina is.

Saying "no comment" to a reporter's question is a P.R. 101 no-no. January did the right thing, and there is nothing wrong with what she's saying--she's complimenting her co-star!

On that note, Christina Hendricks by far has the best job in Hollywood--she gets to play such a great character AND is encouraged to have a curvy body!

Joan just wouldn't be the same without her curves! As a Marilyn Monroe-ish sex kitten, I imagine Christina gets a lot of job pressure to maintain her current figure. Either way, I think she's gorgeous. I definitely lost my beloved curves when I lost weight... but I'm healthier than I was with said curves, so be it.

FitSugar Says:

It's no secret that Christina Hendricks, who plays the buxom secretary on Mad Men, is engaged, and like many brides-to-be, she is dieting.

Her costar January Jones says the redhead bombshell is keeping quiet on the details of her regimen. January gave People the skinny at an Emmys afterparty:
I know that Christina has gone on a "diet," she said. "She already looks amazing, but you know, before you get married you want to look the absolute best. I don't know what she's doing." Jones added one bit of caution, "My only advice is to not go too far, because if she loses her curves it will be a very sad day."

I must say I agree on keeping the curves.
