While the majority of the Gossip Girls continue to frolic on campus, Serena van der Woodsen opted for the road less traveled. Judging from her her power-prowess outfit — Herve Leger bandage skirt, Slane & Slane layered necklace, and gray Topshop blazer — I deduce she's heading to a fashionable business meeting of sorts. Her take on business casual is far from boring and leans on the sexy side — true to Serena van der Woodsen nature. And who can miss her decadent embellished Valentino tote? So snazzy.

yeah; not only do I agree that she wears way too much HL, but she also wears way too many of these "I'm a 25-year-old trying to play an 18-year-old who tries to dress like a 30-year-old because she has daddy issues." I just think her character has become such a caricature of itself; I can' take her seriously anymore...
