The dress is ill fitting, and it looks poorly made and with really bad, wrinkly fabric. It would look bad on anyone regardless of body type, what shoes and what jewelry is worn with it.

Marion hands down. It's probably the French in her that makes everything she wears look effortless and elegant.

I like the red and purple too but the dress doesn't fit Jessica as well, and it is very wrinkled looking on her. Marion always looks very at ease on the red carpet. Her confidence helps make her outfits.

I agree it all comes down to fit. Marion's dress is a better fit, and I also like how she's styled better.

Although Jessica's dress is probably wrinkled from sitting.

Marion, because she styled it better (those shoes!) and she's wearing the dress, not the other way around.

But it doesn't fit well on either of them, really.

the dress is pretty; it's just ill-fitting at the top. I prefer how Marion styled it, mainly because I think Jessica's shoes are too edgy and they don't go with the classic glamour of the dress.
and, grammar Nazi alert (sorry; I can't help it) - I think you meant "London premiere" (you left out a word)...
