Her hair is very pretty, and I like the lip color, but she is way too tan. It ruins the whole look.

Tay! Im glad this bothers other people too. This makeup is not attractive on her and I think it is because of her skin tone.

She looks WAY too made up... caked on, orange-y, ick !

she's still boring, but i love the color of the lipstick.

the rest of the makeup is fine other than that the foundation is wayyyyyy to caked on; but what I think the problem is is that the lipstick is not the right color for her skin tone (neither her real tone nor the fake one they've created), her hair color, nor her eye color. it's way too orangey; she should always stick to real reds...

Her makeup maybe be bad because of foundation and fake skintone but she has beautiful eyes

At the Avon Hope Honors Gala, all the celebrity Avon ladies (and the Avon man) were out, including Courteney Cox, Reese Witherspoon, Fergie, and Patrick Dempsey. Of course, no Avon lineup would be complete without Lauren Conrad, the spokeswoman for Mark. To complement her gray cocktail dress, Lauren opted for a 1940s glam makeup look, complete with glowing cheeks, winged-out liner, and warm red lips. To get lipstick tips from last night's look, created by makeup artist Amy Nadine, just [break]keep reading.[/break]

To give Lauren that old-Hollywood pout, reminiscent of red lipsticks worn by Lana Turner and Rita Hayworth back in the day, Nadine used Mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color ($6) in Wave, a flattering warm red-bronze. To keep the color long-lasting, Nadine dipped a cotton swab into Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder ($9) in Natural Buff, tracing along the outer edges of Lauren's lips. To finish it off, Nadine dabbed on Belle of the Ball Lip Balm ($5) in Sheer Red, but just in the center of the lips to create depth and interest.
