I think Leighton wore the dress better but the socks and shoes I am not a fan of at all. Some short boots would have been better.

i agree. I voted leighton because when i originally saw the dress with the coat and belt, i thought the coat and dress were one. it was very well done, but those shoes, and socks too, are poorly chosen.

i agree as well! i love the dress with the vest but i am not totally digging the shoes with the socks. i don't HATE it but..... i don't they were the best choice.

I think the shoes and socks look kinda cute... a bit too little-girl-y but they're way better than Catherine's boots. I hate peep toes on bulky footwear.

Both looks are spot on. I choose Catherine because I like the classic addition of the jacket. In theory, the dressy socks with the sandals are avant, but I think Leighton would have been more successful with knee-highs instead of mid-calf.

Different or not, the socks and clunky sandals are not a good look. However, both wear the dress well and leighton's look is more polished.

Leighton. Cat looks messy, although maybe it looked better from a different angle (straight on, maybe). But really, Cat's new hair is awful. The streaky blonde makes her look trashy.

Leighton wore it better! love that dress Smiling) Leighton's because it makes her more classic, elegant and more femenine. LUV IT! Leighton's is perfect! =)) Her socks are so ADORABLE! !!!! Catherine wore it quite messsy.

I was thoroughly smitten by the way Leighton Meester worked her Louis Vuitton Resort moody floral frock at Paris Fashion Week. I loved how she topped it with a vest, a belt, and wore dressy socks with sandals. Aussie model Catherine McNeil must have loved it too because she wore the same dress to a party at the LV store in Melbourne. Instead of a vest, however, Catherine topped hers with a sharp black blazer, and and finished the look with peep-toe boots and a bright pink LV clutch. Both ladies look stylish in moody florals, but who wore it better?
