Don't know where my original comment went but...if you like these leggings check out the ones by Members Only. They have different colors (mine are dark blue) and you can either fold the top down or wear them highrise. Very comfy!

The picture above is just awful. Those boots are a terrible choice with those heavy looking leggings.

Superninja, I was wondering what was off about that picture. I mean, I think velvet leggings are cute, but they looked really unflattering with those boots. That being said, I'm going to buy the forever21 ones because chances are, if I buy a pair, I'll only wear them once.

I can't think of a chicer way to stay warm right now than velvet leggings. They're cozy and luxurious, a more mature cousin of the liquid legging. These Alice + Olivia Velvet Leggings ($128) are one of the many I've spotted. They would look good under dresses, but better on their own. I prefer not pay over $100 for them so I found a cheaper version . . .

These INC International Concepts Velvet Leggings ($39) are slightly cropped but they're equally cute. I especially love the way they hug the leg so tightly. I can see them working well on a romantic date — just imagine the softness he'll feel if he touches your leg! If you don't love the crop, either wear them with tall boots or layer cozy socks over them.
