I jsut wouldn't wear it at all. Any of it at least not together and that blouse not unless I was Laura Ingles Wilder or something

bransugar79 on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 3:00pm

if i HAD to wear that skirt.. i would burn that blouse and prob wear a slim-fitting simple bustier-type of corset tucked into it. i would prob go for open toes as well~

cittypark on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 3:03pm

If she wore a fitted and oh-so-slightly sparkly white tank top, tucked in, and her hair up in a slick bun it would look good. There's simply too much volume everywhere. A slick, compact upper half would set off the over-the-top bottom half.

Maybe add some simple diamond (or sapphire for a flash of blue in an otherwise b&w outfit) drop earrings but no other accessories.

It makes me cry to see these young scarlets repeating the fashion faux paus of the 80's. I've never thought of Misha as fashion-forward, but tragically fashion-backwards.

plus_2_kid on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 3:10pm

I agree Fab, the only thign right is the shoes...
Wow, what a disaster!
She looks like a country girl crossed with a flapper crossed with a queen!

Lovely_1 on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 3:19pm

Oh, Mischa...what were you thinking???

Hideous.

emalove on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 3:57pm

No. Just no. I think the hair is the worse of all of those choices. It looks like she curled her hair and then brushed them all out and greased it down. As suggested before that blouse should be burned, and at the very least the skirt might look better shorter and all one length. The shoes are actually cute. I like mary Jane's. But with this outfit, shoes will not come to the rescue.

rockinchica88 on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 4:09pm

not with that shirt helllls no!

veronicaraye on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 4:32pm

How would I wear it?...I wouldn't.

LoveStoned2 on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 5:08pm

I would shorten the skirt and cut the sleeves off of the shirt

hil34 on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 5:43pm

Yikes! She looks like a cracked out version of Carolina Herrera!

TheGaminGamine on Fri, 12/14/2007 - 7:38pm

that outfit is awful!Sad

hotgirli3xxxx on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 2:41am

Ewwwwwwwwwwww. The only thing I like are her shoes.

ESTONE on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 5:39am

I wouldn't wear it. She looks like a Victorian schoolteacher gone horribly, horribly wrong.

bailaoragaditana on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 5:47am

It's not THAT bad. I've definitely seen alot worse.

fleurfairy on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 7:05am

The only thing I'm not so sure of is the skirt but other than that I like it! I can't see why everyone hates this Puzzled There's definitely way worse fashion faux pas' out there

littlemissme on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 9:58am

i agree with plus 2 kid. a tank top would work better than this. at least something form fitting. that has to be the ugliest shirt in the entire world.

sandy82 on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 2:19pm

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

aimeeb on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 5:06pm

I just would not wear it at all..I thought celebs had stylists to prevent these mistakes?

shawnah on Sat, 12/15/2007 - 6:55pm

So over-styled. Look how the studded shoes pick out the studs on the blouse top. Maybe if the skirt was a satiny, softly pleated and triangle shaped skater skirt. But then Mischa's calves often stay more covered up. At least it's something different. Though I think she should get her roots/hair colour sorted out a little.

Kaellya on Sun, 12/16/2007 - 10:51am

she looks horrid. she has always had bad style, but seriously - this has to be a joke!

starbright14 on Sun, 12/16/2007 - 10:53am

I like the pieces of the outfit separately, and it could have been done a right way (plus_2_kid had some good ideas) but the big problem with the whole thing is it makes her look completely disproportionate.

GibsonGIrl on Sun, 12/16/2007 - 2:55pm

I wouldn't. Sorry Mischa.

nissyoh on Mon, 12/17/2007 - 4:42am

That outfit looks like something out of Dynasty. I wonder if the Alexis Carrington look is her new inspiration?

OliveBlack on Mon, 12/17/2007 - 8:49am

If you had to keep one thing, the skirt is "different". The shirt doesn't fit the skirt's proportions. I agree with those who said that she should have worn a tighter shirt. The hair is too big. Maybe she did that to balance out the puffiness of the skirt. Sleek hair, a sequins top would really make this outfit better. I think she should add color. Maybe in the top or with a bag. I also want to comment on her makeup. It's horrible. She looks really old. The foundation color really washes her out. She should have bright lips. It's all washed out.

kmitch1128 on Tue, 12/18/2007 - 9:51am

Separately, each piece is amazing. Together they are a disaster. I would wear the top with jeans or drainpipe pants (in black). The skirt just needs a top that is not as voluminous; a tank or even a t-shirt would look better. And those shoes are my favorite shoes, I like them more in creme with gold studs, but they are incredible.

Lizmatic on Tue, 12/18/2007 - 2:03pm

That top would be super hot (possibly untucked?) with a leather mini. Take a look at the waist part, use your imagination, and tell me it's not promising. She's tall and willowy, but this skirt as is actually manages to make MISCHA BARTON look short and dumpy. I didn't think it was possible.

SensitiveKim on Fri, 12/21/2007 - 5:32pm

*well...not the best definitely. but i love her shoes.*

Pepa on Fri, 01/04/2008 - 2:30am

I think Mischa needs a new stylist.

xredDKNYframes on Sat, 01/05/2008 - 1:01pm

Is that regrowth?

kiwigeek on Wed, 01/30/2008 - 1:37pm

FabSugar Says:

Who is this matron and what has she done with the sassy Mischa Barton? I've always known that Mischa is capable of making fashion faux pas, but this is pure insanity! At the Closing the Ring UK premiere, it appears the actress is having an identity crisis.

The only thing I applaud Mischa for are her studded, Louboutin Mary Janes. Other than that, I'd save the bow-tie blouse for a luncheon and the poofy black-taffeta skirt for a Halloween costume. She should have simply chosen a more age-appropriate dress. Perhaps she can take some pointers from her former O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson.

How would you wear it?
