I think Ellen's dress was the ONLY GOOD ONE out of the three. Rebecca's dress is just way too "pageant-trashy" and Ana's dress was just too formal. She should have had some color on her.
I dont like Rebeccas dress, but I definatly wouldnt call it playing it safe. Annas dress is gorgeous, but she should have atleast used some colorful jewelery. Ellens is playing it safe though. I feel like every appearance she has made, she has been wearing this same dress. It looks like something Sally Fields would wear...she needs to kick it up a notch.
I love Pllen Page's dress! It fits her really well and is age apporiate. If she wore something to formal I don't think it would look right, especially since the SAG's don't need to be all that formal anyways.
In the case of awards, I'd want something more exciting. I'm so sick of black. There are so many gorgeous patterns and colors out there. It's another thing if the the gown was stunning, but there's nothing stunning or special about any of them. Live a little! It's not a funeral!
i love ellen page. i mean, it reminds me of my junior year prom (i wore a knee length lbd with my hair down) and i just think she looks her age and really really good.
Anna's is gorgeous, but a wee bit too fancy for the SAGs. Rebecca's is a bit too shiny and reminds me of a constellation, and Ellen's is a great LBD, but not for an awards show, she doesn't look her youthful age of 20, she looks way older, and a little uncomfortable.
Ellen always dresses boring, it's her thing. While I love dramatic flair and something quirky, I think Anna's dress was great, a bit formal but the bottom was lovely. As for Rebecca, I thiught it was fun and flashy, but formal enough.
One, Ana's dress was a bit safe but it had some nice and interesting details
Two, I disagree that Rebeca's even was an LBD, and if you insist that it was, it was a risky one with all that super shiny silver.
Three, Ellen Page. That dress is boring and for a woman about 30 years older than her. More importantly, would it kill her to stand up straight for 10 seconds of her life? I am so tired of seeing her slumped over with that "gosh, golly, gee-willickers, are you looking at me?" pose.
As much as I think Ellen is adorable, someone needs to teach her how to pose on the red carpet. I know she's new at this but she has the makings of being a huge star. No more looking awkwardly at the cameras, please.
I think Ellen looks awkward and uncomfortable... she should have worn tuxedo pants and a high neck halter. That would have been really cute for her. I just don't see her in a dress, ever again.
