How a Cali-Cool Style Blogger Survives Fashion Week Beautifully

What you may not know about New York Fashion Week is that it can be really stressful! Shows are logistically spread throughout the city, Uber prices often surge, and it's cold AF (but really, Saturday was in the single digits). Editors, bloggers, and pros are often running around in these conditions — sometimes in heels! — to see and do it all. But what we learned from Northern California-based style blogger Alicia Lund is that this week of backstage beauty, runways, and parties can actually be totally fun.

We asked Alicia, who runs the gorgeous site Cheetah Is the New Black, to take over the POPSUGAR Beauty Instagram feed on Feb. 13, during Fall 2016 New York Fashion Week. Her mission: share a day in the life of a top tastemaker (she is also part of the ShopStyle Collective group). During Alicia's day, we got to see the hip downtown spots she ate at, which beauty products she used, and the tips she learned backstage.
