NY Fashion Week: Imitation of Christ
With friends like Chloe Sevigny and fans like Scarlett Johansson and Sean Lennon, Imitation of Christ designer Tara Subkoff has been a celebrity darling since the line's launch in 2000. The label is high concept to say the least, transforming salvage clothing into new, avant garde pieces and turning runway shows into quirky happenings.

NY Fashion Week: Rock & Republic
If Burberry or Louis Vuitton gave birth to a rebellious daughter, the result would be something like the Spring 2007 line from Rock & Republic, unveiled Saturday evening at New York Fashion Week. Pre-Fashion Week Prowl: Secrets Of Charm
New York Fashion Week officially kicks off today, but on Wednesday, I was lucky enough to attend a fabulous pre-Fashion Week runway show at New York's Soho House, unveiling the Spring line from Secrets of Charm, created by designer sisters Sharon and Estee Elkayam. Inspired by Bibi Anderson's character Sara in the Ingmar Bergman film Wild Strawberries, the line abounds with feminine, flirty, springtime frocks made from light and simple fabrics like silk, chiffon, and twills.
